You may well have heard all the buzz online about the attacks on WordPress security. Unfortunately this is no joke, and it needs to be taken very seriously, or all you've built could be hijacked or worse, lost to you.



Allow me to shoot a couple of scare tactics your way since scare tactics seem to be what compels some people to take fix wordpress malware a bit more seriously, or at least start considering the issue.

Also, don't make the mistake of believing that your web host will have your back so far as WordPress copies go. Not always. While they say they do, it's been my experience that the company may or may not be doing proper backups. Why take that kind of chance?
